Does anyone know someone selling the squared door handles complete with the lock sets and chromed?
Stoddards has the castings, but no chrome and no lock set. Can you use the rounded door handle lock set in the squared door handles?

The square hands came on the Pre A 356s. They seem to go for a ton on Ebay, even all crusty and pitted, and never with the locks and keys.
If you find a source, I'd be interested. They were originally made of pot metal and seem to be a tough find in decent shape.

There are some on ebay right now. I'm going to stick with the round ones, so go for it. They were also on the T-1 cars.

Of course, you're right Steven, they did come on the early A cars as well. I REALLY like the antique look of the square base, thanks for the Ebay tip. I'm watching the nice pair and checking the single handle as well. The pair that I have are in about the same condition as that single handle. I'll see what that sells for and try to get the two nice ones . . . swap my lock and key mechanisms into the nice ones . . . and sell my pitted ones on Ebay as cores for chroming . . . maybe off-set the price of the chromies.
Anyway, that's the plan for today. Tomorrow, who knows . . .
