Well. It has taken me, what seems to be forever, to reorganize my garage, build overhead storage, build a shed, sell a bicycle or two, just to have enough room to take delivery of my VMC Speedster kit, and have somewhat ample workspace. I have just about everything to complete the buildup, ready to go... Planning on installing the front beam, and hopefully get the chassis on wheels, in the next week or two. Ill let you know how it goes.

This all sounds familiar. I bought a kit and then realized that I had no place to build it, soooooo.......Spent the most part of a year adding a third bay onto a 2-car garage and THEN started building the car.
That shop was as far from the occupied part of the house as possible so even if I was making all sorts of noise, no one really heard it but me.
My CMC build took place in 5 different garages as I moved about.
Hey! I've got that very same bicycle work stand!

Thanks for the tip @jncspyder I will plan on doing that upgrade. I do have the Vintage Speed shifter already.
Eric this looks very viable. Have fun with the build, and good luck!
