wow - only $2700 for a pre-A nose? that is actually a very good deal considering the compound curve vs. time spent "fixing" an old nose.
If the nose is only 2700, you could probably put together a whole steel body for under $10-15K. Not bad IMO

In my possession now....a steel (mostly) front clip which has been laser scribed and precision hand cut into three pieces. Will ship anywhere in the world at that price!

I think that an all aluminum coupe body, with the various panels riveted together would be unbelievable ! ! ! Talk about the "low flying aircraft" look ! ! ! !
Riveted aluminum body, aluminum interior panels, drilled brackets and bulkheads, simple dark red distressed leather padding where necessary, black rubber mats, simple four solid spoke wood rimmed steering wheel, aircraft gauges and switches. Hell, I'd even like to be buried in that when me time comes.
