My chassis is off a '73 super bug, thus my front beam is from some other vintage bug. How do I know what steering column to buy, I would think that it would have tomatch my unknown front beam??
I have already moved my ignition to the dash, so I want to remove the colum with the old key location.

Greg, thanks. The reason I re asked the questions, was for clarity. I guess what they are saying is any year after '65 column should fit. I have no fabrication skills what so ever.

You mean pre-67 (66 and back)? '67 was a real transition year for VW so not sure on it - suspect it too would work.
