anyone know which year vw steering shaft will work to use an original 356 steering wheel? I am trying to put an original 356 b/c vdm wheel on my car. I pulled the old nardi/adaptor off and figured this would be an easy swap but the spines on the shaft are too small. The car currently has a non collapsable hollow tube shaft with the horn wire running through it. The 356 column tube I have is the exact same diameter as the vw on in the car now...so the plan is to do the wheel along with an original b/c turnsignal housing utilizing the vw column tube...but it looks like I am going to have to change the splines either on the shaft or swap out the splines on the VDM wheel with that off a vw. thoughts? comments? suggestions welcome...Paul
