I will soon be at a point of installing the steering in a CMC I purchased in '88, but started assembling only last month.I bought a wooden steering wheel from CMC at that time. I do not know the brand. The only marks on it are "made in Italy". The adaptor for the wheel is made for a VW Bug; however, I am using a steering column from a '78-'84 VW Rabbit. As luck would have it, the Rabbit has a smaller diameter splined shaft than the bug. Does anyone know of a source for these adaptors or a splined bushing that I could use with the present adaptor?

I suppose I lucked out with CMC...and time. After sixteen years I located all of the parts except the windshield upper trim molding and the two brackets for the roll bar. If anyone has these items to spare and is wanting to sell them please let me know. Thanks.
