steering wheel hub adapter for 86 IM

I am getting an 86 IM soon and want to change the steering wheel yesterday, I want to order it before the car gets here so it can be changed pronto, a banjo ivory wheel, but I don't know what hub adapter to get, I would think a beetle, but what year range?? I don't know

Doesn't IM offer product support and sales on their older cars? Just call them and ask them. I'm being sincere on this post so don't any of you dipsticks get any ideas of jumping this one. Us girls need to stick together, kind of like survivor, oh wait the women always turn on each other during survivor. Bad example I guess.

Momo list a single adapter for all VW Bugs up to 6/74 and then one for the few years after that. So suspect the up to 6/74 is what you are looking for.
