The Alpine CD player is mounted under the passenger seat and is easily reached for volume control etc.

Haha, indeed! My wife always thinks I am going to caress her leg, and then quickly realizes that I am only cranking up the volume on our latest cruisin' mix.

I'm curious about your convertible top.  Did it come with the car?  My Vintage Speedster top looks and fits horribly.  Could that top/ribs be fitted to a VS? Anybody know?

The convertible top was made by Friendly Upholstery in El Cajon CA. Every car manufacturer is a little different so you may want to give them a call to see if they have a pattern to fit your vehicle.
