Steve finished the rough work on the home-made rotisserie. As we've got 3 speedsters to build and extensive work to do on all of them, this will allow less back-breaking labor. Roll the car to one of the sides of the octagon, secure, and got to work. There's also a roller for it, that lets you move the whole vehicle around the shop regardless of what position it is within the rotisserie, but he hasn't built that yet. The cross-bars are quick releases. He'll probably add more of them as he sees how the flex works on the bottom side. The "mounts" are removable so that other mounts for other cars can be used.

Dismantles into a couple of big hoops and some straight bits to store flat.

The discussion to add two more crossbars went like this:

A: I think it needs two more cross bars - on the bottom.
S: It's fine, this is plenty strong.
A: Well, I guess we'll know when we roll it over.
S: Yep. If it needs more, it will fall.
A: OK. If it falls, this speedster is yours...

Why yes it is and I believe I stated that fact. But there are those individuals out there (who will remain nameless but whose initials are Angela Lane) that are just in left field. It's built to handle about 3500 LB's "it will be OK". What do you think you want one Yeh.
