Wiring is (at last) done on the car. We tore the seats apart and added heaters to both sides. Rear seats and rear carpet is installed. Top is tight and heat-shrunk to get the wrinkles out. Door panels and stereo system is in.

Last night - brakes. Uber cool massive retina-detaching brakes...

Terry - the shrunken (red) head will very shortly be in the cabby! Right now it's hanging in Steve's Jeep - he loves it (thank you).

Steve has the cabby effectively finished. A few pieces of rubber trim on the bumpers, a little work on the interior etc., and it's DONE DONE.

Crossed fingers - we may take it to Parts Obsolete in two weeks. Seems like a good way to break in a new project - drive it 500 miles...

Angela, the car looks great, good luck and I hope Steve enjoys the ride, especially since he can't drive the Spyder.

With all the discussion we've had over the years on www.spyderclub.com, I somehow envisioned your living quarters in Oregon to be out in the middle of the forest with muddy dirt roads leading to your home.

Based on the photo's you just published, it appears that you live in a beautiful community complete with an indoor toilet and hot and cold running water.

My vision has been destroyed :)
