I reached out to the owner of this one. He doesn't know who the maker is. Perhaps the experts on this site can tell from the limited pics. I'll see it I can send a video of the motor running

The motor was built by Qualitat VW in Grand Prairie Texas. If you listen closely, the guy shooting the video says it's of the 1641cc variety.

That JPS Coupe in South Atlanta is intriguing, but that price is a bit steep

Based on the 914 gauges in the dash photo that is a CMC/Fiber Fab Speedster. Most likely hand-built by someone at home. Some were built as turnkey cars though so that is a possibility. 1600 cc sounds right, but there's no way to tell for certain without tearing into the engine.

Pictures of the engine/engine bay would be a big help to tell you what else we think about the car. The carpet looks fresh. Door panels are okay but because of the extra piece of padded trim on the dash the door trim doesn't look like it fits right. I'm not sure if it's an optical illusion but there seems to be some type of hump in the footwells. What's going on there? How much is the owner asking for this car?

1958 Porsche 356 Carrera Coupe - Mcdonough GA

I would LOVE a 4WD COUPE...I would buy one in a HEARTBEAT to keep in NY for visiting family in WINTER! I have extended family in NY metro area and my son starting BROWN Medical School next fall(4 YEARS). Dont know how difficult that would be, possibly stick COUPE body on older Audi TT 4WD drive train.....and I'm sure I'm NOT the only one(?) unless I am? I imagine that a ONE OFF would cost big bucks....maybe FIRST EDITION or SEDUCTION might be interested in a new NICHE?

Guess there is ALWAYS the REVOLUTION going on() at STARKE for a 4WD COUPE? Any ideas....other than fuggeddaboutit?

Looking at that padded dash, are those available any place on earth? Mine are all out of shape.

They made of a moulded firm black rubber.  Is it just the vinyl covering that is loose and perhaps needs to be stretched and reglued.  I actually cut some out of mahogany thinking it look better (even did the door sill plates where the side curtains attach.  Pine could be used if you plan to cover it.

Many owners like the no padding that VS uses - they use a thin chrome strip to end the vinyl before the painted dash.

ive wanted to do an audi tt myself had one in the shop and took measurments the tt is longer and wider, its a unibody so would have to make a frame and then bolt parts to it also would need to figure out struts as they sit a lot higher a lot of work but someone could make t happen if you had a 2001 audi tt to trash just to make your dream come true .I abandoned the idea real quick .
