Mike, did you pick up that car you were checking into? If not, consider the 57 Speedster in Austin, if you are serious, we're open to offers.
Jeff, I've decided that I'm going to try to find something a little newer, like maybe something that was built 4 or 5 years ago. So yes I'm still looking for the Right one. I prefer a red ,black or silver one. Why don't you e-mail me at mlcarter306@bellsouth.net with your best price and more info . when was yours built? Is there any rust in the pan? Any other info and some pictures of interior would be nice. thanks, mike
I'm still looking! I must be getting desperate. I've even considered a 20 year old CMC speedster. Am I crazy or what? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Michael, I have a CMC built in 1992. I am in Lakeland Florida which is just outside of Tampa. The car has a 1641cc with dual Webbers, CompuFire ignition, disc brakes. The engine and subsequent components have 2000 miles on them. If you have not purchased a car I can send you some photo's.

Mike,
Take a look at my post on 8-18. We have just received three vintage speedsters and wish to sell one, maybe two of them. We're in Little Rock and could trailer the car over to Kentucky pretty easily. Not asking much more than the $16K you have budgeted and you would be purchasing a brand new speedster. Email me, bill@summit-sw.com if you have any questions or wish to see more pictures.
