Wow what a great color...very cool!
Thanks Todd. I should get her back Sunday....Just in time for Jury Duty Monday!! I must not be livin' right.
i bet you are excited!!
this was the best part of my build - by FAR. savor every moment.
Is that the VW Passat blue circa 2001 or so? I had a Passat that color and always loved it, it gave off a deep purple hue in some light. Should look great! What color interior?
Black interior. It's a GM variant. Looked at 3 yrs of every manufacturers blues, then the paint salesman took me into the back and showed me some manufacturers variant chips. As soon as he fanned it out this one jumped out at me. I said THAT'S IT! Don't show me any more. I was color blind from looking at paint chips with a halogen light. Overcast day. It's just what I hoped it would be.

Rich,
Your 911 is blue? Looks black in the pictures. I have a triple black 996 C4 Cab.
...and that blue on the Speedster looks tremendous!
My 911 is definitely blue, I have never been able to officially determine the color though it appears to be a special order. No metallic, just a deep, dark blue with blue leather interior. These show off the color a little better.

Nice. I've never had one of that vintage. I've had several SWBs and now a 356 and the water pumper, but never one of those. Looks great.
Love it. I had that same wheel. Pelican?
My wheel? It's a MOMO Competition with a little custom horn button I made.
Yeah, I had the same one in my 911. Think I bought it thru Pelican Parts.
Gonna look pretty cool!
well all I can say at this point is ..... waite hear it comes.......almost hear........drum roll....and........You blue it. Thanks I'll be hear all week .

I figure if I drink enough Merlot before I get started the planets will align.
NICE!!

Bamm! That was quick! Looking outstanding!
Thanks guys! Got out of Jury duty for today. Hope I'm lucky tomorrow.
Looking good!
GOD!!
What a gorgeous color!
Can't wait to see a picture of that in bright sunlight. Yowza!
I have to admit the VW trim rings are a neat simple trick that looks quite good and thy can be replaced so easy I do love the blue Midnight blue is my favorite color. but I went yellow beige because of how easy it is to touch up
Yeah, I was really leaning toward a traditional silver, but this blue grabbed me. The donor 70 model I bought was this color too.
WOW! Great progress and coming together nicely.
freakin' fast work my friend!
Yep, that Weldwood contact cement pushes you right along. I was crawlin' along by the end of the day.
almost speachless....DAM!!
You can't be too sick with that Stratocaster hanging by the Marshall amp!
