Anyone have any experience with this wheel? Very authentic looking, 356C wheels. Obviously they look a lot like the wheels I already have on my IM (Beck 4 x 130 wheels). If I did a 911 suspension/wheel conversion I would seriously think about these just because they have the period correct 356 look. Big drawback is, they are steel.

I guess it depends on how you plan on driving your car. If you're into spirited driving heavy steel wheels, with lots of unsprung weight, will be a noticeable detriment, but if you only use your car as a cruiser you probably won't notice the difference.
Personally, I'd never put heavy steel wheels on my car. It's unfortunate that aluminum wheels in that style is so bloody expensive.

I really like the wheels in that second link, Ray!
Ray. Those are the ticket. Love the model C wheels. I don't see any prices. If you have to ask.....
I called before for the rudge wheels... Jewellery for sure... No worse that Fuchs if not purchased used But it might solve your issue and allow you to get 911 suspension, and modern handling... My real estate agent kept telling me ... Ray you can buy that
I could see the rudge-look alloys if there was a "fake" spinner available. Otherwise, I'd just go with used or replica Fuchs.

Tom, I am not crazy for them. How about the A wide 5 conversion and the new Aluminum wheels that Vintage Spyder sells?

Nothing like a black car!! I have another favorite car on the forum. I have to add this one to Musbejims.
You're kidding, right Tom? Natalie is a classy corner carving girl and those are for a drag car.

Love those wheels. What do you think one wheel would cost, Al. My guess would be $700 to $850 US each?

I would bet each wheel would be at least $650.
You just can't beat a set of 5 spoke Fuchs!

Doesn't matter how much, exactly, Ron. I'm sure you're right; they're up there.
Gordon- Are those 16x7's all around?

I didn't know Fuchs could float

Yup, they're so light it feels like your floating compared to those heavy steel wheels...

The real ones can. The fakes sink like a stone.
ALB: Yup, 16 X 7's all around, all running 205's.
