I am looking for info on a place to buy the lens cover that can fit behind the stone guards shown in the attached photo. The photo is, as most of you know Paul Harford's car. This is the only one I have found with a lens cover. All the others with the straight bars have nothing behind the stone guards which would make it very difficult to clean the seal beam light. Any help would be greatly appreciated.......Mike

Michael,
The wire mesh stone guards are the only ones that fit over the headlight lens.
The bar type stone guards are designed fit in place of the lens. So they don't fit over them.
The bar type stone guards are available at midamerica motorworks

Once in a while you can find them on E-bay.

You can leave the lens on by cliping the top tab of the guard under the chrome bezel and using a spacer at the bottom to let it clear the lens.
Here's a couple of photos.

Greg & David. I believe JPS uses the same spacer set up as seen in Greg's pics. He may have changed the install in the past two years, but I do know that's how John was doing them in 03-04. I installled vertical grilles on my VS using plastic spacers... it was ok looking from the right angles, and not so much from others.

Michael, congrats on finding the lights. I'm sure they will look great on your new Cabrio. There was a light green cabrio at Knotts with a set of amber fogs with a cool deco style that really attracted attention at SLO last Spring. There may be pics of it at one of the 356 sites.
