my 356 & I are stranded on 59 southwest freeway in Houston Tx. Someone come get me.

If it would have been yesterday, I was in Houston with an empty tow dolly. Could of helped get it back to your house.
Did you get it home? Hopefully it was an easy fix.

You Know this gives me a idea for a club asistance program . Like the navy we should take care of our members. If some post a disstress message on the site athorites i that area or evena local club member may respond or at least alert the H.P in the area.

I made it home OK. Thank god for triple a. They had me home in an hour, and even sent a flat bed.

My motor is not so luckey. I heard a loud thump, followed by a loud grinding noise, followed by a very strong oil/metal burning smell. I have not tried to turn it over since the issue. Its either my crank or cam shaft.

I have a feeling it have something to do with boring the case. I will start ripping it down tonight. I tried to turn it, can it is completely seized.

No worries, I have built one engine, I can build another. This time, I will take the advice and buy a case already bored.

I think you thew a rod . if you had spun a bearing, like I did one time after playing to much . It reved up then squealed the tires to a halt.
