John is right, you will have lots of fun and time spent, but no real savings, on the other hand, you get the satisfaction of knowing "whats in there" done by you. good luck - jJ
There are a few companies listed on the "Makers" tab that offer cars in kit form. Some are more complete than others. You may also want to take a look at the article on the home page that documents in considerable detail what is involved in the building a car. If you are planning on building for the adventure and have good mechanical skills, you will probably have a great time doing it and be very proud of what you have accomplished. On the other hand, if you are thinking you will save a bundle by building yourself, think again.
