I may be incorrect, but I believe Andy from SoCal Imports purchased old molds and tooling from the Mexican factory where Greg used to source his bodies and frames. Greg brought all that in-house a long time ago.
Andy built less than two dozen cars before ceasing production. Darcy and Steve from South Carolina have the only one I've ever seen.
They were pretty nice. There were some things that they changed on the body molds that weren't "correct" but like I said they were still pretty decent. Pretty identical to my first 2002 Spyder.
