Sub frame (for pan versions) specs?

Paul, that's a complete IM frame, not a subframe for a pan-based car. I believe that the Vintage website has a picture of a frame with a subframe mounted on it. Or at least they used to before they reworked the site.

I would like a drawing of both the sub-frame that is moulded into the body and a complete stand alone frame assembly.

Any and all help would be appreciated and beer is on me if you get to Chiangmai

thanks for the other picture. It looks very straight forward to cut / weld. All i need is some measurements.

On a side note: 356 replica 101: how is the body attached to the sub frame? I've read rivets / and fiberglass. ?? is the metal put into the mold when fiberglassing?


too bad Robert - i was just in Chaing Mai a few months ago. absolutely beautiful place - one of our favorite places in Thailand actually.
