subaru engines

I have an old kit that I purchased years ago and have not had the time to work on. I bought the car and it had a shortened pan. I'm looking into various engine and transmission options. I see that one of the builders is using subaru engines. Does anyone know how they handle the cooling?

Here is a good site. This guy put in a watercooled engine(not a Subaru) in a kit. Good info.
