yo, I'll ride with Jim and play bass
Damned right---we'll have our own Gong Show! I'm up for it.
We'll need to have a chat soon Jack~
Is this post evolving or devolving? 🤔😉

I was gonna say earlier l'll run the gong but thought it would be in bad taste. Chuck Barris died this year. Little to some know that he wrote the song Pallisades Park made famous by Freddy "boom boom" Cannon. I can't play much guitar anymore but can do some stuff with the spoons on a washboard.....
I can hum quietly to myself.

One word of caution is just check and make sure you don't have an engine/VIN verification that will be done on your Subaru motor. Most states overlook this, however there are many states that DO verify engine number, and outfront uses JDM donor motors, which are 100% illegal for road use according to the EPA. they cover themselves by marking the receipt "not for road use. offload only"
John told me he uses California state spec blocks and not JDM.
I too, have gone over to the Dark Side, and said goodbye to my Beck last month and committed to the scooby doo conversion. I'm just hoping that it'll be done before April. I checked around for people to do the conversion and I got mostly blank stares from the folks I checked with. Carey put the fear of God in me and I decided to let Mecca do the job for me. Besides that Carey said he'd try to figure out what the mystery wiring was for on my car.
Good time to post the air cooled motor specs you'll have to sell ~
Couldn’t be more happy with the performance, sound, and simplicity of my Subaru motor from Carey! I’d never go back to the air cooled motor. Aside from marrying my wife the Subaru transplant could rank up as one of the best decisions I’ve made. (I’ve made plenty of dumb ones.)
Good decision going with Carey and the craftsmen at Special Edition. You will not be disappointed. I love the conversion they did for me. They do the kind of work you always hope for but rarely get. Keep us posted on the progress. You will love the way your car drives. Hope to see you at Carlisle!
