IMG_2135I'm. thinking of getting a blue tooth one for my Subaru Turbo engine in my IM.  2005 Legacy GT.  Have any of you guys used them with success?  I have a check engine light on.  Car is running fine.  Henry said to use the kill switch and it may reset itself.  So far no luck.  Should I disconnect the battery and then reconnect it?

ELM327 on Amazon. $20. Just buy one. Every person should have one, even just for your daily driver. I've had mine for years. It is smaller than a pack of smokes.

True story:

One year on the Carlisle caravan, John Eastman's(SAS/SAW) car threw a code. I happened to have my bluetooth reader in my Spyder, so we read the code and cleared it. It came back on but was just the vehicle speed sensor, the wire had come off the sensor. He was able to keep driving because that code is not a major problem. Often they are minor.
