SubyTub returns

After waiting what seemed like an eternity, the SubyTub has returned to me, a little quieter and much improved with the 2005 upgrades and a pair of sharp looking cocoa mats. Should be ready to boogie to Knotts soon.

Looking good Hoss... If those mats are Cocomats, then did you send them a template to have them made special for the Subytub? They are shaped differently than the ones I got for my Beck. I just ordered for a 356 Porsche, no special templates, or sizing, and of course they look okay, but don't seem to fit as well.

Steve sent them a template so that they would have one for his cars. I assume he doesn't have to repeat this step for each order.

Nice back window!!!!! I hope you like it, I think it looks great.

Hopefully things are preceding on my car now that yours is back on the road. It would be nice to have two at Carlisle.

Looking good Hoss, the revised roof line is quite nice and smoother than the first.

Isn't there supposed to be a "Bump" in the convertible top to allow clearance for the "Hoss" Hat??

If not, won't it get all squashy in there??

P.S: The rest of the "New Mods" look pretty spiffy. glad you're among the driving again!!

You know 50 years from now, someone is going to look at the car and say.."well it has to be an early SAW, but it has certain parts that didn't arrive until 2005" looks like were replicating the confusion between years that the originals had????
