Hello all..

Looking for some suggestions on replacing my old worn and dry weather stripping on my 356, I know some vendors sell them but ideas for a similar rubber replacement without spending a fortune on this?

I got something from amazon however is was way to small and returned. Not sure what the correct mm and width.

thank you cheers

Go big or go home.

For the front trunk I like trim-loc self adhesive hollow D shaped rubber, and if you have the room for it they make the same rubber with an added wiper edge for slightly better sealing.  For the engine bay just use 4x original 356 rubber buttons to prevent rattle and chafe and don't seal it up tight.  I'm not sure if trim-loc sells in less than big rolls, but if this is what you decide to try and you can't buy just 15' of it, I can sell you a piece.  The engine rubber buttons come from Stoddard and we stock them as well, in the original grey color.  note: if your fiberglass lamination is very thick, the rubber buttons can be a pain to use.
