Changing oil filters will be a messy job.
Probably not anti-drain back filter either - so on each start up you run dry until the oil filter fills up with oil again. I'd change that and the gas filter first thing.
There is a Ferrari trick for that style oil filter. I don't quite remember it , but it involves a screwdriver and punching a hole in the filter ... not kidding.
Cut the top half off of a gallon plastic jug (keeping the handle) unscrew the filter and letting it drop into the jug.
If memory serves me, you crack the oil filter open, take the filler cap off the filler neck, then punch a hole in the top of the filter , go have lunch, and let the oil drain back into the engine...
