Sump drain nuts

I dont have my how to keep alive book and saw a couple answers online.  I beleive from my last speedster its 5ft lbs of torque on those little sump drain nuts???  I always feel like i am killing my car when i change oil.  So just want to make sure.  Some of you will say just snug em up but can someone check there how to keep tour vw alive and see what torque specs are for those and the big sump nut as well?
