you have to excuse ernie...he is a USMC jarhead and spent some time on a ship putting up with the real NAVY men during NAM so cut him a little slack. he needs some R&R.
His loving wife set up a chow line so he can eat meals and he fills in with C rations using his P38 to open the tins.

I used to always love the mid-watch..........coffee was always black and bitter........mid-rations were always great as well!
