I know the front beam can't be used due to struts instead of shocks, but is the rear setup on a superB usable? Do they have stanard shocks or struts in the back too?

Jeff, The super beetle and the 1969 and up VWs are identical from the windshield back. If you check the CMC manual, you will see where they talk about using an adapter for the front to use the super beetle pan. Hope this helps. Jim
I found a cheap running superB that I might buy for some parts. Mainly the rear torsoin tube. My existing setup has been modified for coil overs & I want to change back to the standard setup.
Car has the Sportmatic tranny if anyone is interested.
