Super beetle steering column

My speedster steering wheel is on my super beetle now cuz it dont fit the column in the speedy. I think it says dino?? Anyway i ve got a chance to get a super parts car and if i swap columns, I'll have steering wheels to fit both, Now I'm not sure but I think that the super column has knuckles on it that would help to get it in past the gas tank(no cutting and glassing in that area, This super is a 73 (steering box, no rack) Will all this work in a steering box mounted on a beetle beam? CMC body. I'm gonna offer $100 for the hulk-no engine, mostly want the column and tires/rims for winter, car is a typical Maine beater-if you cut out all the rust, you wont have nuthin left!
