Just received my very slick side windows from Troy Sloan; factory quality and well worth the $. So, mahalo Troy; they arrived in 3 days and will be well used and appreciated here in the Islands. Let me know if you decide to sell your slick VS widebody! Aloha

Thank Albert. If you end up buying anything other than a Vintage or a JPS, let me know and I will swap out the rails for a set that has not been drilled for the pins. Then you can drill the four pin holes in the correct location and you won't have four unused holes in you window rails.

By the way, I now have a version for CMC/FiberFab, etc. Speedsters. Basically the same, but without the pin mount holes predrilled. They require drilling 4 holes through the outer rail and the window.

Those are gorgeous! Is the hole placement standard on the VS's so that these are sure to fit?

Yes, $250 a pair. The holes are standard on Vintage and JPS, but the windows and the pins are slotted so there is about 1 inch of adjustment to compensate for any small differences. They can also be ordered for CMC, FiberFab, etc., with the rails undrilled so they can be custom fit for any car.

What keeps them from vibrating on the windshield frame?

Besides being angled in slightly from the windshield, the rubber trim along the outside bottom edge provides support and the strap on the inside also provides support and makes them stable.
You can see from this video that they are very stable and the only thing flapping in the breeze is my hair.

You seriously rock. I rarely post because I think members should voice their opinions rather than a moderator. But that video is very,very cool. Anyone thinking of buying a speedster should see that video. It doesn't matter what vendor you choose, that's the experience you feel when motoring down the road in a well built car.
