do you all not do the helmet fairings on your cars?
Nice looking seat belts...so...your head is the roll bar ...what a way to die !

Nice build should command good money at Barrett-Jackson.

Isn't that the way it is for 95% of the replica speedsters/spyders on the road today?
Those little helmet fairings, unless they're re-enforced with a steel roll bar and are higher than the drivers head, would be of no value in a roll-over.
As Clint would say "Do you feel lucky" ? With this type of competition harness you could only pray that you could release it when the car goes over...otherwise the belts are like the "Lunette" on a guillotine

Yes, we make helmet fairings for the cars as an option, not everyone like to have them on the cars. They are available if anyone is interested in getting one.
Beautiful car Alex. The charcoal with brown is very nice and understated
Thanks, and the pics don't do it justice. The car really looks classy in person.
James Dean didn't need no stinkin rollbar why should anyone else? If anyone thinks a rollbar and/or a helmet fairing is going to do anything for you you're talking crazy talk. If your 550 flips over the windshield is going to break. Draw a line from where the cockpit starts to the top of the rollbar and see how little space you have. So unless you've got superpowers that will make it so your helmet fits in the ridiculously small space up tight against the fairing and under the rollbar your helmet is going to impact the ground and get dragged for some distance breaking your neck. I don't think you're walking home from that crash.
2650 T4!!! Holy Carp!! Beautiful Spyder here, looks like all the details have been attended to. Kinda pricey ... but it has a lot going on.
That is supposed to be a roll bar cover...what is this nonsense about a "helmet fairing"

Im a fat guy trying to look as cool as possible!
beautiful build! U put the engine in backwards:}}} also the lawn/garden battery is the the same one i have in my riding mower,,,,just kidding.....looks excellent
Our Spyders have provisions in the chassis for a roll bar for those who want, but it's always best to keep these cars right side up. The helmet fairings are JFL and for a bit of added aerodynamics.

Over 20k in just the running gear. Every little thing adds up quick, but makes for a nice car in the end.
Great looking Spyder, Alex!
I love the 914 gauges. If I were building again, I'd put them in.
The FAT Performance mill is all I dream about.
ReV: did Alex beat you up in Jr High? I'm not sure what the issue is with him, but your comments here make it seem that perhaps this isn't really about a rollbar. About 99% of us don't have them, and the rest of us are deluding ourselves. Crawl under the dash and tax a look at how the windshield attaches. It's pretty humorous.
It's a nice car, and really expensive. I'm the guy who thinks a rising tide floats all the little boats, so any time somebody asks for a big 'ol pile of Benjamens it makes me happy.
