The full flow oil system on my car uses a Ford type spin on oil filter with 3/4 16 threads. Many of us, with this filter requirement are using Fram HP1 oil filters. In recent years, the quality of Fram filters has become poor and no longer met my needs for a strong (bursting pressure) superior oil filter.

Listed below are superior alterative oil filter choices. All have similar specs. and cost from $10. to $13.

Been using Wix filters for many years on a lot of different cars and never had a bad one.....

People using these oil filters in racing applications note different flow rates in the Motorcraft and Wix filters.
