Sway Bar on the front of a Beck?

I have a camber compensator on the rear.  I asked Carey about this once.  He told me that front sway bars won't fit on a Beck.

Also, in a past post Carey stated that one was not needed in his cars.

I haven't felt the need, but everybody sings their praises.  I have yet to figure out how to put one on a Beck.

I thought that may be the case.  I had Cary put a compensator on my car when I was in Brenam  and it handles really well I have had a 914 and a 912 and am very impressed with the handling of the Beck which is  what having a sports car is all about for me.l

Oh and the open top!!!

I have both sitting in my garage next to the car.  VS sent them to me.  The camber compensator though is the one that is more shaped like a U...ok...not that bad, but it does have the bend in the middle and that is the one I was told might make the ride height raise up and I dont want to do that?  I like the way the car sits now. 

 

As for the sway bar - ON A VS - can anyone tell me if there is any specific mods that will have to happen for it to fit.  Marksbug was crawling around under my car and seems to think there may be a beam in the way that will need cut?  Can anyone confirm?

Todd, on the VS you need to modify the front bumper brackets (pic below) to accommodate the sway-bar. You can make out in the background of the pic how I notched the bumper bracket.

 

 

Make note that you should have 4 grommets and 4 clamps of (2 large, 2 small). Each side of sway bar is attached with the smaller grommet/clamp attached closest to the wheel, the larger grommet/clamp to the car's center.
