Is there a chart that gives the amount of spring plate angle change that each outer and or inner spline gives? My swing axle car sits a little low and I am going to adjust my spring plates to raise it 1/4-3/8" .  I need to have an idea of how much raise I get for each spline moved either inner or outer. I know the inner splines are half an outer spline for fine tuning. I thought I ran across a chart but cant find it now. Thanks in Advance.

PS. I was looking at adjustable spring plates. Correct me if I am wrong but when the Empi style adj. plates are set to be in the stock position the adjustment available is mostly all in the lowering direction correct? If my car is sitting lower than I want it now and I were to install the adj. plates I would need to move the plate down some splines to raise the car. From that point I could fine adjust in the downward direction if it is higher than desired correct?

Sure.  Here you go:

I’m not a user of adjustable spring plates (never needed them) but would assume that you would set the plate adjuster to the center of it’s range and then adjust the overall position of the spring plate using the instructions provided above.  That way, the overall adjustment gives you a “coarse” adjustment, while the spring plate adjusters then give you a “fine” adjustment.

The instructions above should get you pretty close to what you need, like within 3/16” or so.  Normal shock/suspension settling is more than that.
