I am sure Henry will help me with guidance on this, but I thought I'd do some reasearch with owners who have tagged and insured your cars before delivery, or you drove it home.

First Q. Who are you insuring with? And did you get that insurance when the car was completed, but not delivered?

Second Q. If you drove your car from Vancouver, what did you do to get it legal/tagged before picking it up?

Thanks Jim

Jim,

Good question. I know Henry drove that red Roadster down to Knotts from Vancouver this spring for owner delivery. But honestly I can't remember if he had tags or just one of those paper in transit papers on it. He sure could tell you. Know it can be done. Also a couple of years ago he had a roadster on a trailer atEmnory's and think it had BC plates on it. I am sure Dale can supply that answer as well.

It sounds like a Speedy convoy from the north in late April heading south. Can I play?

Bruce
I had my insurance in place before shipping it and I insured I could prove they damaged it by taking pictures before it got shipped. My carrier provided insurance also, but thats like asking the fox to guard the hen house in my opinion. I also made sure the insurance company was notified a week in advance in writing of my intent to ship via enclosed trailor and they sent me a letter back saying it was covered for the transport.
