Tail gate nets for pick-ups?????

Do they improve gas mileage? I'm getting conflicting opinions on this one.

Hey that also answers the vexing - tail gate up or tail gate down question. Tailgate up (unless you're on way to dump or need to clean rock and sand debris out of bed). P.S. those reclining naked lady silver silhouettes on mud flaps do indeed increase MPG.

Hot Rod (or maybe Car and Driver?) magazine did a similar series of tests a few years ago. They cncluded that nothing made any diffference EXCEPT a cap over the bed. That is in conflict with Mythbuster - which episode I did happen to see. My feeling is that the magazines had better vehicle testing equipment then mythbusters. Just my duece penneys.

Hey, I once put the world's largest front air dam onto the bottom of a 1974 3/4 ton F-250. That sucker hung at least 12 inches below the front bumper. Truck still got 8.8 MPG for 22 years. It originally got 7 MPG until I put equal length headers and a dual exhaust on. they just don't makum like that no more - thank heaven!
