Keep in mind original replacement rubber is slightly smaller than the replica ones... seriously.
Good tip, even though your name is not Scott! (LOL) Is there a recommendation for Scott or a work-around you might suggest?

I don't have a suggestion other than maybe asking if they are made for originals or repros, and making sure you can return them if they don't fit. The taillight rubbers from International Mercantile, for example, are made to original spec and are too small for our repro lights. Not by much, but enough you can't stretch them on...
