Fortunate to spend several hours today with James Dean’s cousin Marcus who he lived with growing up at the Dean family farm. We spent a lot of time talking about James and seeing where he grew up. Marcus and I even took a spin in the Speedster to where James is buried.
Marcus really liked the Speedster and that meant a lot to me that we did it justice.

Wow! This is, for sure, a day to remember in your ongoing saga...and for Marcus, too. How in the world did you catch up with him? 
I was fortunate to be connected with Marcus through The Porsche historian Lee Raskin.
Saga is a good way to put it, I think this was the first replica to ever be built. I see your keeping Facebook informed also.
It has been a great experience. The team at Vintage Speedster in Arizona worked with us to get the car where it needed to be and we are really happy with how things came out.
