I've already got two of those assemblies in the cellar.
They're surprisingly similar to the lower portion of the BMW assembly, the only difference being an upper section to support the power brake booster.
I think. for a hot rod, the BMW might be a better choice, mostly for the power brake option and the factory proportioning valve that accompanies it.
You need to get out of the house and into more junk yards, Ebay is only for rainy days . . .

I know what you mean, Ebay is a WONDERFUL way to lose yourself for a moment or two. I have a little problem waking up from that day dream. I've logged on for a quick look at something and end up losing two hours or MORE at a time before I even realize it.
The other evening I built a 56 Chevy Gasser in my mind, by searching out every single part that I'd need all on Ebay. Right down to the small Moon tank to tuck in the front.
