Technical Book for Type IV Engine | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I'm a newbie, just got my speedster from JPS few weeks ago, don't know much about this type of engine. What technical book or/and manual should I get? any suggestion?

You could get a Porche 914 manual as the Type IV was in that car.

or if you have specific questions people might be able to answer them here. There should be several people here with Type IV's. I have a 2056 TIV but am not that experienced yet with the engine.

The Joe Cali book on converting the TIV to T1 cooling has a lot of useful TIV info in it. Its $30 either from his site or from AirCooled.Net
