I once said I would NEVER pay XM or Sirius for satellite radio. Well that was before my 07 Passat came with it installed and I hooked up the free 90 day trial offer. Soon I will be hooking up the one in the house on the Denion.

I love it and think it is truly the best I'm mostly stuck on 31 or 16 on Sirius with 103 once in a while.........;)
Vince, you could keep those pictures coming all day long. Very nice. Looks like the paint was done with a whole lot of pieces removed from the engine compartment. It would be harder than hell to get all the little stuff masked off in there without spending forever doing it. Even the fan shroud is glossy in the hard-to-reach places.

It sure is pretty. Almost makes me re-think the money I've wasted over the years.
Great car.. Looks like a 292 Y block

My girlfriend in High School had a 1956 T-Bird. Her father bought it just before we graduated in 1965 and paid $1,200.00

It had a bad miss-fire when she got it and her dad asked if I could try to fix the problem in Auto Shop. Turns out it was a bad set of points. She kept that car for 2 years and traded it in for a 1967 Mustang (what a dope)

In 1980, a Commander on my Dept. inhereted a 1957 T-Bird from his aunt and the car had been sitting for 15 years. In one day, I got it running, flushed the brake system and installed new wheel cylinders. He's still driving that car...

Best of luck with the new (old) car.
Damn that's a nice car!

Remember the Dan Tanna Vega$ private eye series on TV where the guy drove a 1957 red T-Bird and the place he lived in had an automatic door and he'd drive the Bird right into the house and park it there? Now that was kewl...the car and parking it in his living room. I'd watch that show just to see the car.

Vince, you're gonna have to knock a hole in the living room wall and let Teri park it in there.
thanks guys...
Once I get it registered I will take it to my mechanic and make sure it's road worthy, (tune-up/brakes etc) and most likely get new tires to replace the 30 year old ones..It's a shame because the thread has plenty of life left, just can't trust the hard rubber..
one more thing...as much as my wife loves the bird, I doubt it will ever be "inside" the house, I tried pulling that with my Harley, and didn't get away with it...

I think my mechanic will like this bird
