I'm running an 1835 with dual Kadrons, Petronics ignitor in my CMC widebody, thru a Kennedy 2100# clutch . Am still in the break in stage and have kept it under 4000 rpm so far but,
Brother-in-law has a 1984 Morgan +4 with a ford focas engine that is quick. I have been able to eat his lunch fairly easily thru the first 3 gears but don't want to strain it in 4th until broken in properly. He does have a 5 speed so he will probably out run me in the long haul although I can probably upset him alot thru the twisties with my setup and 205-15's an all corners.
Blake, I'm running and 1883 which is very strong in torque but maintains original cooling. It uses an 82 stroker crank, chevy rods, and special made venolia pistons, and STOCK 85.5 barrels which are stock thick, lotsa fins cooling I run a doghouse shroud, and oil temps haven't yet gotten any higher than about 210. Guy near Fresno builds these things, and they're real popular. Lotsa torque , I can almost pull out tree stumps.

George, reason I'm running the 2100# stage two is because the guy that built the engine builds drag VW's and had the 2100 new leftover from a previous build when they decided to go with a stronger clutch for drag racing. Actually, I like the feel of the clutch and hope to do some auto-crossing with the widebody and the combination of the clutch and Scat drag fast shifter short throw shocks alot of rice burners even when I'm holding it under 4 grand.
