Man, wish you guys had advertised meeting! Ah, but not warm Guiness. Maybe they had Dortmunder. Next time I'm just down I-95 and would like to see the Hoopdiee.

Wolf, it was largely circumstantial. Ricardo had mentioned a few weeks ago that he was coming, but if I hadn't been on overtime until 1:30 that afternoon, it might well have been a miss. I'm up near Baltimore most of my off time, but it was a crazy stroke of luck that I left the firehouse as he got out of a conference four miles away.
Didn't even think about it until he called with the possibility that morning. Alzheimer's or something. I had to jam outta there before five anyway, to go pick up some parts before Peek closed. Kind of short-changed the opportunity.
