A big THANK YOU to all those who have assisted me by answering questions, and patiently endured redundant issues as I've come up to speed with both VW's and Speedsters. I read another thread this AM (can't remember where) and went through an impromptu commercial by Alan M. soliciting Donating Members. You were right Alan, we do get a heck of a lot more out of this forum than through a regular rag, which I buy periodically. Nowhere near a comparison. The real blessing for me has been those of you who have supplied me with missing parts FREE OF CHARGE!! In merchandise alone, I have saved over double the cost of this subscription. Sorry I've been so complacent and not joined sooner, but now that I'm to installing the carpet, the flurry of technical knowledge exchange has subsided, and I can see the horizon. Cudos to you all, and if I can do anything to help out, I'll be glad to. If you're in Upstate South Carolina, look me up; I'm right off of the I-85 interstate.
