Deep pockets, indeed, Al. Someone in the car club had a business installing docks and the prices ranged from $100 - over $800 PER FOOT! That included everything: pilings (wood, plastic composite or concrete), stringers, decking, railings, potential benches and canopy at the end (boat lifts were extra). So I’m thinking that long one was one of the last before Beaufort County stopped allowing anything new beyond 250 ft. That one is, by far, the longest one along Shell Point Road.
