The Artwork of Heidi Gallo

Have you seen the two exquisite watercolor paintings of Cal Monsamo's Speedster, and my Ruby done by Heidi Gallo? Heidi is the bride of Al Gallo,and a very gifted artist. The paintings are in Al Gallo's file "Aldog". See ya at Carlisle!!

Thanks Allan, she had a good time doing those. She usually paints seascapes, light houses and boats, local stuff. Those were her first attempts at cars. Maybe if I'm real nice to her she'll paint MY car.

I know that the portrait of my car was done from a photograph. I would assume that Cal's was also,seeing how he lives in Oklahoma. Come to Carlisle, and you may speak with Heidi directly. I do agree that this could open a new outlet for her creativity and a definite avenue for revenue. As you see from here work,she is an inspired and gifted artist. As Al said, she does mostly seascapes,landscapes,and lighthouses. Look at her website and you will see just how talented she is. Al is no slouch either when it comes to antique boat restoration. Talented family!! Heidi has more talent in her little finger than I have in my whole body!!

Heidi here,,,,, Al had me read all your comments, and I want to thank you all so much, you are too kind. Painting a car was new to me, and I had alot of fun doing it. Speedsters/Roadsters are such an art form, and more fun to paint than shingles on a building! I might be interested in doing more,,, I do paint from photographs, (usually mine) Winter is my down time to get paintings done for the busy summer season, but I may have some time to squeeze in a car now and then. Thanks again. Looking forward to seeing you all at Carlisle.

Oh I LOVE that Heidi painted Ruby with the luggage on the back. That is truly the spirit of that car - adventures await!
