I saw a few threads about the Beck Speedster and thought I'd open another... maybe answer a few of your questions.

The Beck Speedster was created by my father and Chuck Beck around the same time they moved the Spyder production to Brazil. It has since been primarily a Brazilian domestic product, due mostly to production limitations and a primary focus on the 550.

A few have been imported sporadically throughout the years, I drove a Bovarian Cream/Tan Beck Speedster to high school in the early 90's, and currently have a Silver/Red 1915 (a few saw this one on ebay).

A factory expansion has allowed us to "formarly" introduce the Beck Speedster to the US. Please check our website www.beckspeedster.com and feel free to email me with any questions. We have a few dealers set up and are importing kits NOW!!!

BTW... My father and Chuck are currently working on the Beck 904 (which will utilize 901 and 915 gearboxes and any 911 engine to provide a wide variety of power options), as well as the Beck Lister and a variety of other projects. They are at the Avanti plant in GA. www.avantimotors.com (click on "New Avanti Cars").

While we are still directly involved in the Spyder, Chuck Beck Motorsports (now based in Cali) is currently handling the distribution.
