For historical reference, I really like "Porsche Speedster: The Evolution of Porsche's Light-weight Sports Car" by Dr. Michel Thiriar. It has 218 pages, and lots of color photos and illustrations in a large page (13.3 in. X 9.5 in.) format. Available in most all the usual book-sellers, at approximately $30-$40.
