We were biding our time with a rental, Troy. We were hoping to buy it, but the dude wasn't making his mortgage payments. We decided to jump while the market was in our favor; we couldn't pass up this place. It's five years old, and we got it for three-quarters of what it cost new.
Once we get those dead poplars out of the front yard and throw some maple on the floors, we're going to be there for a good, long time.

Speedster D, we're minutes from the airport, if you're ever out this way. How ABOUT that parking thing there, huh?
If you guys find yourselves near Herald Harbor, Maryland, feel free to stop in for a delicious and refreshing beverage. We are in the process of moving from Savage to HH, and the new house's renovations, tree removal and general housekeeping should be done in time for a mid-August move.

The new garage is cavernous, and there's enough parking for every Speedster in the tri-state area to park off the street.

Bring your kayaks and canoes, 'cuz we're about a block from the broad, calm waters of the Severn River in a very quiet neighborhood. No traffic lights, no noise and no hustle or bustle.

We STOLE this place. I feel for the prior owner -- sort of -- because Teresa broke that poor guy's will over her knee.

Teresa and her mother are renovating the place from top to bottom (I would help, but you just can't weld drywall ... so my assistance would be limited to standing there like a monkey looking at a box), and they're going to get some professional help for the electrical stuff that needs to meet Code. Otherwise, the PO spent a pile of money making it meet Teresa's pre-purchase requirements.

(Theron, thanks for fixing the photo upload problem. It was very easy to load these today.)

Thanks for the nice words, folks!
We're very excited about the move, and we'll be happy to have any of y'all come on by.

Just to clarify, Teresa and I BOTH got what we wanted for storage space. If you look past the rocket sled in this picture, you can see the grey, Amish-built palace her yard and garden stuff gets to live in.

Which, in turn, should cut down dramatically on the number of bugs, leaves and other yard-related detritus that gets tracked through my beloved surgical theatre. You want to tinker in there, Bud, you're going to have to "scrub in."

And I can't get over this asphalt pad. It's really amazing that the PO had this thing paved the way he did. Turns out he didn't run any permits, either. He had it done by a contractor and figured he'd rather pay a fine than be told he couldn't do it.

Bully for him -- GREAT for us!
