Well I made some progress this weekend. Things are good bolting up in a good manner. Alan M, I am going to pick up one of the turn signal converters tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. I finally did get around to fire up th RAT T4 motor. It took some time to get it going . IT might be the old starter ... may not have the torque. The engine did fire up after about 45 minutes trying. It sounded nice with the open header. Had about 5 minutes of run time ..... a loose oil cooler line shut us down for the day. Must of forgotten that fitting! The engine firing up should of been the highlight of the weekend. What ended the good was the bad! I did have a chance to install the windshield . I was a royal pain in the ....hello! Anyway after two attempts I finally got it installed to a somewhat acceptable manner. It just would not set right. Well to end the story ... I wsa taking a walk-around to admire the progress. Guess what I found? A hairline crack in the inner pane of the windshield. Oh well ! Whats next?

I ended up shimming the back of the window post 1/8". This tilted the winshield forward and closed the center gap between the body and glass.

I then made certian no metal was touching the glass while slowly tightened up the bolts making sure there was no load placed upon the glass.
